Lisa Brooke is based in Derbyshire and offers a variety of treatments and therapies to improve the performance, health and well-being of your horse, whether you are a pleasure rider hacking at weekends or a budding Olympic star in any discipline.  She works as a vital part of the team surrounding an equine athlete, in conjunction with trainers, vets, equine dentists and farriers to ensure that the horse is in optimum physical health.

Lisa studied at Warwickshire Agricultural College to gain a BA (Hons) in Equine Studies and then undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in McTimoney Animal Manipulation at the McTimoney College ( in conjunction with the University of Wales).  This is the only accreddited course teaching adjusting techniques for animals in the U.K.  After setting up her own practice, covering the East Midlands, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire and parts of the West Midlands, Lisa became aware of the benefits of incorporating equine sports massage with McTimoney techniques.  She undertook further training through Equinology Inc., an American based institute specialising in providing quality courses in horse health science and care, and gained the Equine Body Workers' Certification.  This involves sports massage, stress point therapy and passive stretching exercises.  Lisa recently completed further training in advanced massage techniques and is now able to offer various procedures including myofascial release and craniosacral therapy.   Lisa is committed to furthering her knowledge and acquiring new skills; as part of her continuous professional development she will be offering additional therapy techniques in the near future.
